T-ball Tryouts

I signed Atrus up for summer rec T-ball and soccer.  These were really team placements for all the first-timers, which Atrus was because he didn't do summer rec last year. 



All these kids were trying out as well.


Atrus liked to stand at the fence occasionally to watch the kids on the field.  
 

Eventually, he got up to bat, and he got a pretty good hit on the ball.


After everyone on the bench had hit, they switched places with the ones on the field.
 
Atrus had fun going after the ball.


Chancellor got some birthday cake.  Daddy joined in the singing of the happy birthday song to Chancellor.
 
We tried to show Chance how to blow out the candle, but he instead to lean in and start eating the cake.

Chance had a pretty decent birthday, even if spread out over a few days. 

Next up:  Atrus's first game.
