Bubbles (as promised)

Ok, so it took me a bit longer than I planned, but here's the slideshow of bubbles I promised. These were taken 7/14/09 here at home. Atrus was actually blowing bubbles. I know there are only 4 pictures and it'll get old soon, but it's easier this way. You can slow down the slideshow and look at the pictures and clicking on it brings up (I believe) a bigger version anyway Without further adieu, I present BUBBLES!

Fireworks from July 4th

I know, I've done a LOT of posting today, but I had a flash insight. I wanted to share my fireworks pictures from this 4th of July. I made a slideshow on Photobucket. It goes a little bit fast, but I believe it has a pause or stop function so you can go through them. If requested, I can post links to each individual picture (they really do look better bigger).

Vice Vice Baby

This latest contest was about personal vices. They're not fantastic, but they're fun!

Thar be dragons!

I thought I'd sort of play catchup. The contest before Shiny, Shiny Metal was titled "In Memoriam: Thar be dragons." A prominent Farktographer, pangolyn, had passed away and her geeky obsession was dragons. So, the theme of the contest was, of course, dragons. I made dragons out of Legos. Alex helped though, and his help is/was greatly appreciated. So, here are those dragons, and they're attacking the village of Lego-people! Ack! As before, the pictures when clicked on should pop open into a new window or tab so you can see the bigger version if you want.

Shiny Shiny Farktography

I'm new with Farktography. I'm getting into taking pictures now, and I thought that with weekly themes, it would give me a good chance to work on setting up pictures, lighting, exposure, composition, etc. In essence, it would give me practice without bugging everyone all the time. I thought I'd share the three I posted in the latest contest. My reasoning for posting here is that it's easy for those who don't have a MySpace or Facebook or LiveJournal or Twitter or any of those other accounts to just follow. Personally, I have a MySpace, but I rarely use it any more. So, I'm going to try to continue here. Anyway, here are the 3 pictures I posted. Clicking on the images should pop them into a new window or tab so you can view the bigger version. I hope you like them.
